Our Regional Teams
I joined Voyage Care in 2016, bringing with over 25 years' experience managing large remote services in both the healthcare and utilities sectors. This includes working with care homes for the elderly and health clinics for Bupa.
I have been working in social care (in a variety of settings) for 30 years. I joined Voyage Care in 2005 as a support worker and through development opportunities, commenced my current role in 2016.
As I developed within Voyage Care, I have experienced all roles within residential services which include support worker, senior support worker, deputy home manager and home manager. I also have experience with setting up and managing supported living services. This has enabled me to have an understanding of others roles within the business.
I truly love my role and strive, alongside my managers, for excellent quality care. I would like to think I am a good leader, listener and passionate about what I do.
In my personal life I am mum to three adult children and a nanny to a three-year-old granddaughter.

I have worked in the care sector for over 25 year’s predominantly supporting adults with; learning disabilities, autism and elements of challenging behaviours.
I consider myself as an active member of my team and believe everyday should be a challenge, fulfilled with supporting individuals to achieve their goals whilst maximising their potentials. This being done through supporting registered managers to look closely at people we support's environment to enhanced their development.
Keeping myself and the people around me busy is important to me as I like to aid others to progress, encouraging both; friends, family and myself to take up new tasks and activities.
My personal interests include: reading, walking and visiting places with historical backgrounds as this allows me to increase my knowledge of events that have affected the modern society and economy. Travelling to a numerous amount of countries is of interest to me as I am able to gather cultural experience and different understandings of environments.
