Wrexham Supported Living provides care and support to individuals with a learning disability, mental health condition or physical disability. We have 15 houses on this development and most have 24 hours support. One house is separated into four flats and we also care for two people on an outreach basis.
Everyone here is encouraged to participate in a programme of activities that reflects their individual choices and preferences. We have strong links with the community and access local facilities. Some of the people we support attend college, others have work placements or structured activity plans
Each house is different, we have bungalows, houses and flats. Everyone who moves into our houses goes through a matching process to make sure they are compatible with fellow residents, which includes considering age and disability.
We recognise the importance of relationships with family and friends and visitors are welcome at any reasonable time. We also support people to develop new friendships. We encourage everyone to participate in house meetings and become involved in recruiting new staff.
