Our Home

Talbot Court is an experienced nursing care home, providing high-level nurse-led and clinical care. Our team supports up to 10 people with range of needs and conditions, including learning disabilities, dementia, cerebral palsy, Down’s syndrome, and complex clinical needs. We also support terminal illnesses and those on a supportive pathway with palliative care.

At Talbot Court, we’re dedicated to supporting individuals to live a comfortable, fulfilling life, tailored around their needs, preferences, and goals. Through a person-centred approach, we ensure everyone’s care reflects what’s important to them.

Our home has nurses on-site 24/7, enabling expert-led care that’s adapted to each person’s needs – from PEG feeding and catheter care to oxygen therapy and diabetes management. This ensures the people we support stay healthy, active, and independent, in a safe, nurturing environment.

Facilities

Talbot Court has been thoughtfully designed to support comfort, accessibility, and everyday living. Our spacious bungalow is fully wheelchair accessible and offers a calm, welcoming environment. Inside, you’ll find a large communal lounge, a bright dining area, and a well-equipped kitchen – perfect for relaxing, socialising, or enjoying meals together.

At the rear of our home, we have a lovely garden that provides a peaceful space to enjoy fresh air. Complete with a patio area, it’s an ideal spot to unwind, spend time with friends, or simply enjoy a quiet moment outdoors!

Our home is conveniently located close to local cafés, restaurants, and shops. We also have excellent public transport links nearby, making trips to Wolverhampton, Birmingham and beyond really easy. Our team arrange meaningful activities for the people we support to engage in, such as exciting trips to the zoo and Sea Life centre.

There are lots of ways to stay active and engaged, from pamper sessions, music, and arts and crafts, to bowling, cinema trips, park visits, and seeing family. Our accessible minibus makes day trips simple and enjoyable for everyone.
