Talbot Court is an experienced nursing care home in West Bromwich. Here we provide quality care and support for up to ten people highly complex needs, alongside learning and physical disabilities, dysphasia, dementia, epilepsy and Down’s syndrome.
We can also provide support to individuals with terminal illnesses and adults on a supportive pathway with palliative care.
Supporting you
Our team provide the people we support with tailored person-centred care plans, which include activities tailored to the individual’s hobbies and interests! We take time to get to know the people we support enabling us to provide the best quality care we can!
We have dedicated nurses on-site 24/7, providing regular observations to ensure the health people we support. Our nurses are trained in a range of clinical care needs, including PEG feeding, catheter care, administering oxygen, nebulisers, diabetes, and subcutaneous injections.
When it comes to mealtimes, we use modified diets where needed to suit each individual’s needs while ensuring they get a health and balanced diet.
Facilities
Our spacious bungalow comprises ten bedrooms, and plenty of communal areas, including a large lounge, dining area, and kitchen!
Our home is equipped with hoists to assist in the personal care of the people we support.
To the rear of our home, we have a private garden featuring a patio area complete with garden furniture – perfect for enjoying some fresh air!
Our home is fully accessible throughout to meet the needs of those with conditions affecting mobility.

Our Team
Our team
Our support team go through an extensive four-week induction, which includes health and safety, epilepsy training, risk of choking hazards, dementia training, manual handling, autism and learning disabilities training.
After this induction is complete, they spend a week reading support plans we have in place for the people we support, before shadowing experienced colleagues for two weeks – ensuring our care is of the best quality and supports their individual needs.
As a team we work together to give the people we support choice and independence, supporting them to have the best quality of life possible.
