Welcome Woodley House!
Woodley House is our new residential care home in Nottingham.
Supporting you
Woodley House is a residential care home that provides person-centred support for up to 18 mature adults with autism, learning disabilities, Angelman’s syndrome, Down Syndrome, and mental health problems.
Facilities
The service is split into three purpose-built properties:
- The main house – male only.
- The bungalow – female only.
- The cottage – mixed gender.
The main house has a quiet room, a sensory room and a grand staircase, which has recently been modernised to provide greater accessibility for residents.
All ground floor bedrooms also have wet rooms – perfect for those with reduced mobility. The bungalow has five bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom.
All three properties are linked via a beautiful courtyard. Every Wednesday, the team host a ‘Café Dance’ so all residents can socialise, dance and enjoy food and drink together.
The properties also share a nine-seater bus and have an extra vehicle that they use for fun day trips and holidays.
The service is in Nottingham, which has easy transport links into the city centre and is close to Rushcliffe Country Park and The Nottingham Heritage Railway Museum.
