At Blackberry Hill we provide care and support to ten adults with a learning disability and epilepsy.
Supporting you
We can support you to develop your independent living skills by getting involved in the day to day running of the home. You can also get involved in a number of activities within the property, such as music and art sessions, reflexology and massage.
We believe that the responsibility of high quality care and support sits with everyone and everyone should be involved in the direction of their own care. This is an approach that all the team at Blackberry Hill are committed to achieving with each of our residents.
Our care plans are created with the individual in mind, we take into consideration their choices and wishes to help promote their independence as much as possible. We are focused on helping everyone to reach their maximum potential and lead a fulfilling life.
Facilities
Blackberry Hill has ten bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities. The home has been designed to meet the needs of adults with a learning disability, while providing a warm and homely environment.
There are spacious communal areas, all of which are furnished to a high standard. These include a lounge, a ground floor conservatory, a dining room and two kitchens; one of these is a specially designed training kitchen which offers a safe environment in which service users can help to prepare meals.
There is also an upstairs conservatory which is used as a quiet area for relaxation.
