We provide care and support for up to eight people. Our expert team support everyone at Welland House to live a happy, fulfilling life, whilst achieving their aspirations and maintaining their health.

Our team enable individuals to build independence and offer privacy, respect, and dignity. Empowering everyone to make their own choices, all decisions are discussed with the individual, or an appropriate family member or advocate.

Our home is welcoming and lively. We work hard to meet each person’s needs and ensure everyone has the opportunity to do the things they love. Regular activities the people we support enjoy include skating, swimming, art classes, going to church, growing flowers and vegetables, attending discos, and pub lunches.

Facilities

On the ground floor we have four spacious bedrooms, each with its own high specification, level access shower room. On the first floor are two self-contained flats, designed to support added independence and privacy, with the reassurance of full 24-hour support. Our flats have two bedrooms, each with a fully tracked, level access shower room. The flats also have their own living room and kitchen-diner with height adjustable cooking facilities.

Our home is designed around everyone’s support needs with specialist equipment and adapted facilities to support comfort, independence, and safe care. This includes lifts and hoists, specialist bathing facilities, and adjustable kitchen surfaces and appliances. We also have a garden with a lawn, patio, and a sensory area.

Community

The home is ideally situated in Corby, with the town centre just five minutes away. Getting around couldn’t be easier, with a bus stop across the road from our home, and a train station in easy reach.

We also benefit from a service vehicle, giving us easy access to the surrounding countryside and other nearby towns. As a service, we have good relationships within the local community. We regularly host events at the home, including coffee mornings to raise money for charity, which are well attended by people in the area.

Our team offer a range of skills, experience, and qualities, creating a strong, supportive environment for the people we support. All the individuals we support have complex health needs, so our team are thoroughly trained in all the conditions we support.
