At Towngate East we support eight residents who have severe learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy, cerebral palsy and other complex needs.

Supporting You

We support the residents to take part in the activities they enjoy and gain new skills. They currently enjoy getting involved with tasks such as gardening, cooking and cleaning which results in building independence, as well as taking part in a range of leisure activities.

Facilities

The home is wheelchair accessible and has specialist equipment, such as hoists and adapted bathrooms. The home also boasts a self-contained unit for promoting independence and preparing those in our care for supported living. We also have a large garden with a vegetable patch and fruit trees

Community

Our home is in Market Deeping and we have two adapted vehicles which allow us to visit larger towns nearby. We encourage everyone to become part of the community and enjoy activities of their choice, including swimming, gym, shopping and going to the cinema or theatre. We often attend local events such as discos and festivals. There are also a variety of education courses available locally.

Our Team

Our staff team are welcoming, very adaptable  and work to create a fun and supportive environment. We treat everyone with respect and dignity and believe everyone should be able to express themselves in the way they prefer. We use a wide range of communication aids and programmes and have staff members who are communication coordinators. The people we support are involved in choosing activities, holidays and menus, through one to one meetings or group sessions.
