Redmond House is a 12-bedroom, purpose-built bungalow where we provide support to individuals with learning disabilities and multiple complex needs.
We encourage everyone to make use of local facilities as much as possible. Activities offered include local youth clubs, discos, cinema trips, ice-skating at a rink which caters for people with physical disabilities, sailing, hydrotherapy and swimming.
Within the home, individuals are encouraged to engage in daily living skills and build on the independence skills that they may not already have. These include cooking, cleaning, shopping, laundry and gardening.
The home is situated in Corby and has good access to nearby amenities. We have a pub and restaurant next door and plenty of local shops. There is a bus stop just outside offering good access to local transport links. Redmond House also has ready access to local healthcare services and shops within the town. There are also college courses available locally.
Redmond House has been purposely designed for the people who will live here. The home features high levels of specialist support, with the communal and personal areas designed not only to create a warm, friendly and homely environment, but also to support people with multiple and complex needs.
Our home has generous personal space and each of the six bedrooms have en-suite facilities. All bedrooms have the potential for ceiling tracking mounted sling hoists to provide safe and comfortable support to those who may require this facility.
The spacious communal areas include a large lounge, a dining room and a well-appointed kitchen, as well as a sensory room and activity rooms.
