Supporting you
We support people with learning and physical disabilities and mental health needs in Wolverhampton and Walsall. We have expertise in supporting young people transitioning to adult services who need support to access college and gain independent living skills. We also have experience of supporting people with substance misuse problems and people with early on-set dementia.
We also have experience of supporting people to find somewhere to live, manage their home, find out what benefits they are entitled to and manage their money. We can put you in touch with landlords in your local area who may have vacant tenancies and can support you through each stage of applying for a tenancy and moving to your new home.
The support we provide is down to you. It can range from a few hours a week to 24 hours a day. We can support you to enjoy activities of your choice – this could include taking part in sports or leisure activities, going to the cinema, bowling or meeting up with friends. We can help you to find out about education and job opportunities in your area and support you through the application process. We can then help you to travel to and attend college or work, if you wish.
If you are not in receipt of support or funding we can help to get you assessed with your local authority. We are also equipped to respond to urgent support needs of people who wish to access our services. Voyage Care is a nationwide provider with access to staff teams and services. In addition to providing support we are able to signpost and give information on services that may benefit you to maintain a happy and healthy lifestyle of your choice.
