Facilities

The home is a lovely bungalow and each resident has their own bedroom, which is decorated to reflect their individual personalities.

The communal lounge has recently been refurbished and redecorated with pictures chosen by the residents we support, as well as items that have been created by them, such as drawings, paintings and tapestries.

Chantry Gardens also has a kitchen, an office and a quiet room where people can choose to sit and listen to music, read or do some art. At the back of the home there is a large garden that has a stream running along the bottom and overlooks fields.

Our residents enjoy taking part in activities such as art, film evenings, relaxation sessions, reading, music / karaoke and games and puzzles as well as out of home activities.

The team

The small, friendly and diverse team of staff ensure that the residents we support live full and fulfilling lives with a large range of activities and new challenges to accomplish.

The home is very close to Trowbridge which has a cinema, restaurants and shops. There are also swimming pools nearby and many pretty towns for days out, such as Frome and Bradford on Avon.

We are close to Bath where we enjoy going for days out and shopping. In Southwick there is a small charity funded café which employs people who have disabilities where we go for coffee and cake and a look round at the animals that they have.

We are also close to some other Voyage Care homes and we enjoy sharing activities with them, such as bowling.
