Our residents are all females, over forty and are supported by a female staff team who have a wealth of experience and qualifications. Oak House positively supports individuals with a learning disability and a range of individual needs including cerebral palsy, schizophrenia, OCD, epilepsy, mobility needs and agoraphobia. We also support autistic adults.
Supporting you
We promote independence, involvement, inclusion, decision making and choice and facilitates new experiences. Person-centred goal plans are formulated with each individual to work towards realising their dreams, aspirations and preferred lifestyles.
There is a positive atmosphere at Oak House with a good balance of opportunities for skill building, learning, relaxation, fun and leisure.
Facilities
The layout of Oak House provides a large lounge and separate dining room with patio doors to the garden, the kitchen also opens onto the garden. This home offers good wheelchair access throughout.
