The Hadlows is a residential care home based in Kent.
Our home is made up of two adjoining properties, offering a positive and supportive environment for up to nine people with brain injury non-rehabilitation, challenging behaviour, epilepsy and mental health needs.
Supporting you
We work with each individual to create a person-centred support plan tailored to their specific needs.
We support people to identify and achieve their chosen goals, offing guidance in accessing opportunities that develop their skills and confidence for a positive future. This could be through gaining work experience and employment, accessing education and vocational training, maintaining personal relationships, or developing friendships with people who share similar interests.
Facilities
The Hadlows has as total of nine bedrooms spread across the two buildings, and each person we support is encouraged to decorate and personalise their room to their own taste!
Our two homes have a number of bathrooms, including a dedicated wet room for accessibility, and separate communal living rooms…where frequent Netflix and cinema nights take place!
We also have an open-plan kitchen and garden, providing the perfect space for outdoor activities.
Helping the people we support to access the community, we have two service vehicles which we regularly use for day trips!
The team
Working with specialist health and community services, our dedicated team support people to regain and maintain the skills needed to manage their health and daily activities. The people we support are given independence days, where they work with their dedicated Keyworkers to do a weekly food shop and help with the cooking!
