Supporting you
We believe everyone should live a fulfilling life, regardless of their disability. Therefore our experienced staff work together with the residents to build on their independence and empower them.
We offer everyone as much choice as possible. We produce pictorial menus and provide information about available activities so that everyone can choose what to take part in. One of our residents has completed a cookery course at the local college. Another of our residents is an Arsenal fan, who has a membership card and the staff supports him to go and watch live matches at the Emirates. He is also a member of the local football team.
We encourage everyone to get involved in a range of activities in the community. As well as this we also support each person to be involved in the day to day living at the home through tasks such as cooking and daily living tasks. There is a varied programme of activities within the service, including music sessions, art and dance sessions which everyone can participate in if they wish.
Facilities
Our home is a detached house with high ceilings and a lot of character. The property has eight bedrooms and a number of spacious communal areas, which are pefect for socialising. There is also a beautiful garden at the back of home with a patio area and lots of outdoor games!
