Millstream House is an established, well-appointed and comfortable home which offers 24 hour residential care services for up to 22 adults. Our friendly and welcoming home is located in a quiet residential area of Rochester and caters for individuals with Huntington’s disease, neurological conditions and complex needs. Supporting you

We also offer respite support. We offer long and short-term person-centred specialist care. Our focus is on empowering and enabling each person we support to live in accordance with their wishes and to maintain their interests as their condition progresses.

We receive ongoing training and support from the Huntington’s Disease Association. We have a dedicated activities co-ordinator, allowing our residents the chance to access activities that are beneficial to them. We give every person support and encouragement to achieve their goals.

Our dedicated team of staff work hard to ensure the people we support access the activities of their choice and live as independently as possible. Activities include swimming in a hydrotherapy pool, bingo, cinema visits, football matches, beach trips and go karting. Millstream House is five minutes from historic Rochester which has festivals and concerts throughout the year, which residents enjoy. We encourage the residents to create bucket lists and we enjoy helping to fulfill them.

Facilities

Our three-storey, well-adapted property offers three fully accessible, spacious living areas where residents can socialise, relax and take part in activities. There’s also a games room that has a pool table, air hockey table and an arts and crafts area. For relaxation, the home boasts a beauty parlour and reflexology lounge with aromatherapy oil diffusers. The home has a large kitchen and dining room and features two lifts, helping residents access any floor easily.

Millstream House has 22 bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities and access to a specialist bath. All bedrooms within the home are adapted and are suitable for people with mobility issues. Millstream House has beautiful grounds at the back of the property, with lovely views towards the Medway river, Rochester Cathedral and Rochester Castle.

Millstream House is five minutes from historic Rochester which has festivals and concerts throughout the year, which residents enjoy.

We are just a 15 minute walk from the train station with good transport links around the Medway towns. The home is also easily accessed by the M25 and M2.
