Supporting you
The Lodge provides support to five people with a learning disability, who may also have physical disabilities. Our residents are aged from 40 to 70 and enjoy getting out and about as much as possible. The Lodge is a fun loving place where there is always something going on.
We believe that every person is an individual in their own right and deserves dignity and respect; this is at the heart of the care we provide. We promote independence and pursue opportunities for personal development and fulfilment. We can also provide respite support.
Facilities
The home is an extended gate house and has five bedrooms and a shared lounge, kitchen and dining area. Everyone living at The Lodge is encouraged to take part in every aspect of looking after their home, such as cooking, cleaning and shopping.
The team
Our staff team consists of dedicated individuals who are trained and experienced in meeting the needs of the people we support. We ensure that ongoing training is provided for staff so that they are able to support everyone to achieve their aspirations and promote a high quality of life. Staff support is built around the needs of each individual and promotes their independence. There are staff on duty 24 hours a day. We have a key worker system in place which helps the people we support to build trusting relationships with staff members.
