At Wellington House we provide support for ten adults with mild to moderate learning disabilities, mental health needs and associated complex behaviours.
Supporting you
The people living at Wellington House are supported with a personalised care package and benefit from person-centred care plans and Positive Behavioural Support plans. This enables them to receive consistent support and to reach their full potential and achieve their aspirations.
At Wellington House each resident is encouraged to devise and engage in a weekly programme of activities using our strong links to local adult education and leisure facilities. Each programme is tailored to the specific goals and ambitions of the person while taking into account any support they will require to make their ambitions a reality.
We use our expertise in managing learning disabilities, mental health and associated complex behaviours to ensure that disability is never a barrier to success. The long term aim for our tailored programmes is for person to move into more independent homes or supported living if they choose to.
