Our Home
30 Richmond Road is a residential care home located in Reading, Berkshire, offering support for up to five adults with Down’s syndrome, epilepsy, learning and physical disabilities, and mental health needs.
Supporting You
Our dedicated team ensure the people we support get opportunities to enjoy exciting days out. These outings include going to the shops, trips to nearby pubs and restaurants, and exploring popular attractions such as the Sealife Centre and local zoos. These day trips not only provide a fun and enjoyable experience for the people we support, but also offer opportunities for social interaction and adventure. Our goal is to create memorable experiences and a feeling that they belong in the community.
Facilities
Our chalet-style, detached home, features external and internal Tudor Beams, giving it great character. Our home has five bedrooms, two located upstairs and three downstairs. The living room has a large statement fireplace that provides a warm and cosy atmosphere.
Our home has shared communal areas, including a dining room, lounge, kitchen and quiet area. Whether you want to relax in the sun, or get stuck into some gardening, we have a spacious rear garden with a vegetable patch.

Our village is near the River Thames, providing beautiful views and opportunities for riverside walks.
Our Team
Our team creates person-centred care plans to support individuals in reaching their goals and aspirations. We have two to three team members per day shift, one waking night team member, and one sleep-in team member. Our team are required to complete mandatory and service-specific training, such as movement and handling, and epilepsy management.
