Westbury House is a friendly residential care home where we support up to 11 individuals with learning disabilities and physical disabilities. We also have experience of supporting people with Down’s Syndrome, autism, schizophrenia, fragile X syndrome, depression and vascular dementia.
The people who live here have many different activities built into their individual care programmes and are actively encouraged and supported to be as independent as possible. Each individual is closely supported to ensure they continue pursuing their favourite hobbies and interests, whilst also learning new skills through activities.
Our highly trained staff team are specialised in providing support to people with learning disabilities and physical disabilities.
Each member of staff is friendly and confident in their role and contributes to the happy, harmonious home environment. They have all received manual handling training and individualized communication training such as Makaton.
We currently have a first-floor room available with a shared wet room. This room can be accessed via the stairs or lift, so is suitable for somebody with health needs.
