At Westbury House, we offer residential support for up to 10 adults with autism, cerebral palsy, Down’s syndrome, learning and physical disabilities and mental health needs.
Supporting you
Westbury House is a family-orientated service in Deal, Kent.We encourage the people we support to become more independent through activities at our home as well as time out in the community, including arts and crafts, bingo, cooking, and gardening.
Throughout the year, we to host parties for the people we support and their families – a great opportunity for a sing along and boogie!
Facilities
Our spacious, detached home features three bedrooms on the ground floor, with the remaining rooms on the first floor of the property. Each bedroom has a wash basin for personal care. There are two wet rooms on the ground and first floor, along with additional communal bathrooms.
We have lots of shared communal areas, including two lounges, a dining room and kitchen – perfect for the people we support to learn independent living skills. Our home is comfortable and easily accessible, with a lift and ramps for wheelchair users.
At the rear of the property, we have two gardens, one of which is being developed to encourage wildlife and a patio area which is the perfect spot for activities and parties!
Our team
Our dedicated team receives specialist training tailored to the needs of the people we support, including manual handling training that covers hoists, standing aids and handling belts. They also provide personalised 1:1 and 2:1 support for individuals, help with personal care, accessing the local community and much more! We are committed to promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life for each person we support.
Our team consists of daytime and night-time support, ensuring that the people we support receive support exactly when they need it.
