The home has an open plan lay out, all on one level, making it fully accessible for those with mobility needs. There are also adaptations in place including grab rails. The property comprises six bedrooms; three ensuite rooms and three bedrooms with access to a shared wet room or bathroom.
St Helens Down also has a beautiful large decked area, set in a woodland garden with a raised vegetable patch and herb garden. Our garden attracts an impressive assortment of wild life all year round!
The people we support at St Helens down are encouraged with independence skills to maintain their daily lives. They are supported to engage in personalised meaningful activities schedules, including in-house activities such as art & crafts, baking as well as activities outside the service. We offer person-centred care with choices offered daily, ensuring the decisions of the people we support are always respected.
We adapt to suit individuals’ needs and strive to get positive outcomes for the people we support, whether it be a personal goal or achievements or a health-related outcome. Our dedicated staff team support and empower individuals in their lives. Our team have built relationships with local professionals, advocating the best possible outcomes for the people we support.
