Bridge House is a beautiful residential service for 11 adults of mixed gender, aged 18-65. It is a traditional detached house in Taunton, Somerset, just two miles from the centre of town. We provide skilled support for people with a learning disability, epilepsy, mental health needs and challenging behaviour.

Supporting you

Bridge House is a calm, yet stimulating environment where residents enjoy reiki and massage sessions, music, football, table tennis, and in-house arts and crafts. We have onsite vehicles so can take residents to the local gym, swimming, cinema or a walk in the parks nearby. We even have our own fish tank in the lounge area, which offers therapeutic time-out sessions. The service is centred on each person as an individual. Staff are kind and caring, encouraging residents to enjoy the banter and laughter with a home-from-home feel.

Facilities

The house comprises of an entrance hall, cellar, activity room, utility room, a large communal kitchen, dining room and lounge. The garden is a good size with outdoor seating areas. Our residents like here to sit and feed our chickens, who roam around freely and like to keep the residents entertained.

 

Located in peaceful Taunton, we are close to a range of amenities.
