Wellington Road is a residential care home supporting up to 10 individuals with a range of needs and conditions, including autism, learning disabilities, behaviours that may challenge, epilepsy, Down’s syndrome, and mental health.

At Wellington Road, we provide positive, person-centred support to help you build confidence, develop skills, and grow your independence. Our team works closely with you to understand your needs, interests, and goals, ensuring each day is meaningful, comfortable, and full of opportunity.

At our home we enjoy activities together, from themed nights to music, games, and social events, creating fun and connection every day. We also support you to enjoy experiences beyond the home, including day trips, weekends away, and visits to local attractions.

These may include trips on the West Country Steam Train, local cinema screenings, and visits to the nearby riding school. You can also access a local hydrotherapy pool and enjoy regular in-house entertainment.

Facilities

Wellington Road offers a welcoming and thoughtfully designed environment where comfort, personalisation, and wellbeing come together. Spread across three floors, our home features 10 bedrooms, each with their own en-suite wet room. Built with accessibility at heart, our beds are adjustable for those with mobility needs.

Our communal areas are designed to encourage relaxation and connection. You’ll find a large lounge, a dining room, and a separate kitchen area – perfect for developing your daily living skills.

Outside, there is a charming courtyard to the rear and a lawned garden at the front of the property, providing ample space to enjoy fresh air, unwind in peaceful surroundings, and spend time outdoors. Our home creates a warm and homely atmosphere where every detail is geared towards comfort, community, and a sense of belonging!
