Langley House provides specialist care and support for individuals with a learning disability and complex needs, which may include challenging behaviour.
We support individuals to achieve their goals and aspirations. We have a comprehensive house activities programme, which includes external specialist services. We also actively encourage the use of other resources in the area.
Each person is supported to live as independently as possible and to take part in all aspects of daily life.
Langley House is situated on the outskirts of the small market town of Wiveliscombe, on the edge of the Brendon Hills close to Exmoor and the Quantocks. This offers some great opportunities to be out in the country for walks, drives by the sea and a range of outdoor activities.
The home is divided into three sections. The main house is comprised of eight bedrooms, all of which are en-suite and adapted to meet individual needs, a large lounge, a dining room and a fully equipped kitchen and laundry room.
The property has an annex which comprises of three en-suite bedrooms, a kitchen, a dining room, a laundry and a conservatory, which leads into a large walled garden. There is also a one bedroom flat, which is adjacent to the main house and has a fully fitted kitchen/dining room, a bedroom, a lounge and a bathroom.
We also have three additional self-contained flats built in the grounds.
Our home has a welcoming and warm environment and is staffed 24 hours a day by an enthusiastic and dedicated team.
