Supporting you

Our residents choose their own activities and create their own weekly plan, providing daily structure and promoting independence. The activities they enjoy doing include theatre trips, photography and horse riding.

Facilities

Tudor Rose has a separate lounge, dining room and kitchen and a lovely garden with extensive views over Alton. The garden is home to our pet rabbits and our residents have created their own risk assessments and care plans for the rabbits to ensure they are well cared for.

We have five bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor. Two of the upstairs bedrooms have ensuite facilities. There is also a large shared bathroom upstairs plus a separate toilet downstairs.

The team

We support a range of additional needs including epilepsy, autism and communication difficulties. Our staff are competent in using Makaton to enhanced levels, as communication is the key focus of the home and ensures person-centred environment. We support you to increase your independence and make your own decisions about your life and your home.

We are located just a short walk from Alton high street offering great access to local amenities as well as being near a main bus route. There is also a shared house vehicle.

Many social activities happen within the local area so our residents have a network of friends and acquaintances. Alton itself is a small market town, surrounded by the Hampshire countryside and within a half hour drive of the sea.
