Supporting you
At Red Gables, we provide 24 hour care and support for a group of people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and complex needs including autism, cerebral palsy, communication difficulties, epilepsy and diabetes.
We promote independence, social inclusion and the staff encourage the residents that they support to enjoy a quality of life and engage them in taking part in various activities through planned weekly timetables and adhoc days out.
Activities residents currently enjoy include trampolining, atmospherics, pub trips, tenpin bowling, discos, swimming, cinema trips and going to the local church. We also enjoy holidays and celebratory parties. Adhoc days have included trips to Minehead, the donkey sanctuary, animal farm and truckfest to name a few. We also enjoy a range of in-house activities including creative ability, holistic therapy, music sessions, look good feel good, cookery and baking.
Facilities
The home is very open and spacious and offers two separate lounges, a user friendly kitchen, a large dining area, a conservatory, a sensory area and a small annexe. We have two accessible vehicles which include an adapted Renault Master.
