We encourage a healthy balanced diet by offering fruit based snacks throughout the day. At our home we have two mini buses on site and a house car, allowing us to take a maximum of nine people at once out on day excursions. We can also cater for individual trips with key workers.
We have an in house activities planner which includes an in-house church service, gardening club, reading sessions, juice making, coffee mornings, movie afternoons, cream tea, and meet and sing sessions. We also have a singer who comes once per week and gets residents doing karaoke.
Residents are also encouraged to attend social events and trips. These are organised by our two activities coordinators and the key workers and may include trips to the zoo, ice skating, theatre shows, local tribute acts, and rugby and football matches. We also are linked in with the local college and have three residents who attend weekly.

Wey House is an old country farm house with large grounds and an enclosed walled garden, which was renovated early last year. We are a 31-bedded nursing service which primarily caters for adults ages 18-64 years old.
On each day shift we have two qualified RGN’s and 14 care and support workers. On each night shift we have one qualified RGN and five waking night staff, ensuring quality of care is provided of the highest standard. There is also a nurse call bell system throughout the home to ensure any needs of the residents are met.
We also have a family meeting kitchen, full laundry services and a catering kitchen. There is also an onsite treatment room with appointments for hair and beauty sessions including massage (at additional cost) all adapted and wheelchair friendly.
Bedroom decorations are all personalised and we have onsite maintenance who can pop TV’s on the walls and hang pictures to add the extra personal touch. We have six bathrooms and two additional toilets, all which are equipped for baths and showers including ceiling tracking hoists. We also have a spa Jacuzzi bath perfect for a pamper night or a nice long soak after a long day.
Our kitchen provides weekly menus which offer a range of breakfast options, and a minimum of three choices for lunch and dinner each day.
Our team is highly skilled and currently provide complex care for residents including PEG feeding, injected medications, drips, catheter care, tissue viability and pressure area care, and people who are dependent on oxygen. Staff are also trained to deescalate challenging behaviours should they arise. We also have a weekly GP clinic in-house.
We currently have three vacancies at our home, which include two large bedrooms. Our first vacant room is on the ground floor with its own private toilet and handbasin.
Our second vacant room is on the first floor and can be accessed via the lift or stairs. Both rooms have access to shared bathrooms.
We’re also excited to announce our new self-contained flat! Due to high demand, we are renovating a first-floor flat, which would be perfect for a fully mobile individual. Each of these vacancies comes with a bed, double wardrobe, bedside table and room for TV and other items of furniture. Freshly decorated in neutral tones, these rooms are ready to be personalised to each resident’s style.
