Voyage Care has experience of supporting people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries and other complex needs, both at home and in the community. All our staff are subject to appropriate checks and are given specialist training tailored to the needs of the people they support.
We currently provide support to over 30 people in the Portsmouth area who have various needs including learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, health needs and behavioural needs.
The people we support vary in age from 20 up to 64. The support provided is person-centred and tailored to meet the needs of each individual, ensuring that their wants, needs and aspirations are at the forefront of all we do.
A key part of the support we provide is promoting daily living skills and the development of new skills within the home and in the local community. This enables everyone to seek opportunities for education and employment, if they are interested in doing so. The team work to empower each person to take control of their day to day life while ensuring that their safety and wellbeing is maintained. Our large staff team have a good skill mix, varying experience and a wide age range. This enables us to match staff with the people they support based on skills and needs.
