Roselea is our residential care home in the heart of Gloucestershire. Here, we support our incredible housemates to build independence and lead the lives they choose.
Promoting our purpose of creating fulfilling lives for all, our expert team support our housemates to get involved with a range of enriching activities and explore new opportunities. With plenty of options in the local area, they often enjoy horse-riding, swimming, tennis, and making the most of the local craft-making centre.
From discovering new hobbies to building confidence through everyday achievements, there’s always something exciting and empowering happening at Roselea!
Making a home
At Roselea, our team have created a warm and welcoming environment, where the people we support feel valued and included. More than a place to live, Roselea is a home where people can enjoy life, build friendships, and truly feel part of an extended family. There are many ways they champion inclusion and make everyone feel part of their family. But there’s one particular approach that’s popular all year round!
As a household, everyone at Roselea loves a celebration – especially birthdays. Our team ensure everyone’s birthday celebration is planned to meet their preferences, ensuring their day is filled with the things they enjoy most. Whether it’s a meal at their favourite restaurant or a cosy celebration filled with presents and sweet treats, every birthday is made to feel extra special.
Stewart, one of the people we support at Roselea, celebrated his 48th birthday earlier in 2026. He started the day by excitedly opening his presents. He then enjoyed a nice walk to the pub to have his favourite lunch – fish and chips. He celebrated the day in style with a birthday pint of Guiness and a well-deserved dessert!
Our team takes pride in making sure everyone feels celebrated and appreciated. It’s these personal touches and shared moments that make Roselea such a special, inclusive home.
Working towards Mission:Zero
Inclusion at Roselea also helps shape our sustainability campaign, Mission: Zero. Through this, we’re aiming to be net zero by 2035 and everyone at Roselea is working together to help us get there!
Our housemates have been busy putting their green fingers to work by growing their own vegetables and herbs. Together, they’ve taken part in every stage of the planting and growing process. With our team’s support, they’ve lovingly nurtured their plants to life. Now, they’re ready to be re-planted in the garden where they can truly flourish!
This not only provides a fresh, sustainable source of herbs and vegetables for the home, but also offers a rewarding activity that brings the whole household together. It gives everyone the opportunity to learn a new skill, enjoy the benefits of spending time outside, and take pride in something they helped create. A true sense of shared achievement for everyone at Roselea!
Summer Adventures
As the months get warmer, the people we support at Roselea have been safely enjoying the sunshine! Our team understand spending time in the fresh air is important to everyone’s wellbeing. So, whether it’s a walk in the local community, a fun trip to the park or an adventure further field, Roselea ensure they’re making the most of the better weather.
A few of our housemates have even enjoyed a wonderful day out at a local fun fair, making the most of the community atmosphere and all the excitement it had to offer. From the moment they arrived, they were surrounded by vibrant scenery, cheerful music, and the sounds of shared laughter. This created a fun and welcoming environment for everyone to enjoy. They explored the fairground and went on every ride, which brought plenty of smiles and joy.
Lynne and Lianne, two people we support at Roselea enjoyed an exciting adventure further afield with a week away at Butlins. Throughout their holiday, they made lots of happy memories together and embraced everything Butlins had to offer. They spent time in the arcades, enjoying the games and sharing lots of laughs along the way.
They also loved watching the fantastic live shows, which kept them smiling and singing along. And no holiday would be complete without a visit the beach, where they enjoyed the fresh sea air and the feeling of sand between their toes. Whether they were strolling along the shoreline, taking in the views, or simply relaxing by the sea, their week was filled with fun, laughter, new experiences, and quality time together.
By the end of the holiday, they had created so many special memories, they were already talking about where they could go for their next adventure.
