Our Home

At Cedar Road, we’re a Headway Approved Provider supporting up to nine people with an acquired brain injury and other complex neurological needs. Our specialist support focuses on developing and maintaining mental health, cognitive function, daily living skills, and relationships within the local community.

The support we provide is designed to help you achieve a level of independence that’s right for you. Using a functional approach, we apply rehabilitation and therapy techniques to everyday situations, helping you to reclaim the life you deserve. We support you to set achievable goals that are important to you, regularly monitoring your progress using Goal Attainment Scaling.

Facilities

Our warm, welcoming home is tucked away in a quiet spot of a vibrant residential area. We benefit from spacious communal areas throughout, so you have lots of opportunities to socialise, spend time alone or participate in activities. We also have a specially designed training kitchen, with accessible and adapted equipment, so you can practice important living skills!

We’ve designed our home to meet a range of additional and complex needs following brain injury. All our bedrooms have ensuite facilities and ceiling tracking is available where required.

Our large garden is the perfect spot for enjoying the outdoors. You can even get stuck in with some potting and planting alongside your housemates!

As a household, we get involved with various activities! These include getting active with swimming and bowling, and bigger day trips to local attractions, like Dudley Zoo.
