Supporting you
The Terrace is a residential care home located in Doncaster, providing support for six individuals with learning disabilities, autism and challenging behaviour.
Facilities
Our large home features six individual living spaces, each with a cosy living room, a well-equipped kitchen, a breakfast bar or dining room, and a bedroom with an en-suite shower room.
We have two ground-floor apartments that are wheelchair accessible. Each apartment is furnished with high-quality items, including a double or queen-sized bed, oak wardrobes with mirrors, a TV console table, a settee, a kitchen table or breakfast bar, a fridge/freezer, a washer/dryer, kitchen storage space, a microwave, a fitted oven and hobs, and a kettle. We encourage the people we support to decorate and personalise their apartments to their own taste!
Our communal area is designed to be comfortable and homely, with settees, a large console table, a mini-kitchen, and spaces for activities like karaoke, games, film nights, and arts and crafts.
Outside, there’s a lovely patio area perfect for enjoying warm summer weather. The property sits on an acre of land, offering a large garden with a trampoline, jacuzzi, and another patio area, ideal for various outdoor activities.
Our team
We prioritise having the best team to provide the safest and most effective care. Our Registered Manager and management team have an open-door policy, promoting honesty and transparency with both our team and the people we support.
We take hiring new team members seriously. Each candidate undergoes a thorough interview process, and we welcome feedback from the people we support. After joining, new team members receive comprehensive training to ensure they deliver excellent support.
