At The Legard we support eight individuals with a learning disability and physical disabilities and other associated complex needs. We believe there are no limits to what you can do when you work as a team.

Supporting you

We support each person to live their life to the fullest and encourage everyone to take part in a wide range of activities. We hold regular house meetings to make sure everyone has input into the way we run the home and new initiatives for the future.

Facilities

Our home has been designed to meet the needs of everyone who lives here. The Legard is fully equipped with specialist equipment including overhead tracking, high/ low beds, rise and fall baths and height adjustable tables.

The home has a number of communal areas where residents can socialise and take part in activities. This includes a large lounge, a kitchen / diner and a sensory room. Our home is fully wheelchair accessible and has lift access to the first floor.

Our home includes eight large bedrooms, all with close access to a shared bathroom.

Community

The Legard is located three miles from Hull city centre, where there are numerous leisure, education and work opportunities. In addition to the good local bus service in the area, we also have a wheelchair-accessible minibus which we use for trips out into the community.
