Brain injury rehab 
At Cedar Road, we support nine residents. We provide high quality support to enable them to develop and maintain their independence and cognitive skills following an acquired brain injury. We are pleased to have been granted Headway Approved Provider status.
Supporting you
The support we provide is based around rehabilitation techniques which increase individuals’ independence. We also monitor progress regularly using Goal Attainment Scaling.
We can also provide neuro-occupational therapy and have a proven track record in helping our residents move forward and achieve the lifestyle they want.
Facilities
The spacious shared spaces within the home give our residents the opportunity to socialise, spend time alone or participate in therapy sessions, as they wish. We also have a specially designed training kitchen for preparing meals.
The home has been carefully designed to meet the specialist needs of our residents, whilst still providing a warm environment. The nine bedrooms all have ensuite facilities and ceiling tracking is available where required. We have a large garden which people are invited to help maintain.
The team
Our well-trained staff team at Cedar Road are supported by a neuro-psychologist, who assesses each person’s specific needs and implements and reviews therapy programmes.
The high staff levels enable people to become actively involved in the daily running of the home.
