Our new Prader-Willi specialist care home is opening soon!

We’re pleased to announce we’re opening a new Prader-Willi specialist care home! Mason House in Nottinghamshire will provide tailored care and support for people living with Prader-Willi syndrome helping them to lead a healthy, fulfilling life with support from people who understand the condition.

Mason house is a spacious service, with six en-suite bedrooms in the main house plus two self-contained flats.

The main house features lots of communal areas including a spacious lounge, kitchen, dining room and conservatory. These rooms will give the people we support space to socialise together and build relationships with their support team.

Attached to Mason House, there are two external, self-contained flats perfect for those looking for more independent living.

The house has a large garden with space to play a variety of outdoor games, as well as an allotment plot where the people we support can grow fruit and vegetables. The outdoor space is designed to encourage an active, healthy lifestyle for those living there.

A note from the service manager

We caught up with Service Manager, Alex Murphy about the upcoming opening of Mason House, he shared…

“I’m excited to be involved in the development of another service that will provide specialist support for those living with Prader-Willi syndrome. Mason House will be a safe and positive environment, where we aim to deliver the same success as two of our existing Prader-Willi syndrome services, which have been rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).”
