We support up to ten people with learning disabilities, autism, Down’s syndrome and cerebral palsy. Our home has an ethos of enabling individuals to reach their full potential and promoting independence. We want each person we support to have a happy life, making their own choices and having enjoyable experiences.

Facilities

The Minster is a large Grade II listed detached house and each of the ten bedrooms here are equipped with ensuite facilities. We have a large communal lounge downstairs and a quieter lounge upstairs, there is a large dining room where in-house activities can take place. Outside we have a very large garden which is accessible to wheelchair users and equipped for outdoor games.

The Minster is set away from the main road in a quiet location, centrally situated between Taunton and Bridgwater, offering road links to the M5, as well as major bus and train routes to popular commuter areas. We are just a short distance from the small local town with local amenities including hairdressers, pubs, takeaways, library and small shops.

With the use of both home and public transport we are able to offer a wide range of activities with full support. We also ensure that regular home visits and family contact are maintained. We are centrally situated between Taunton and Bridgwater, offering road links to the M5, as well as major bus and train routes to popular commuter areas.

We have a dedicated team of staff, on-site 24 hours a day, who are passionate about the care and support they provide and about enabling residents to lead lives as full and active as possible. Our staffing hours are tailored around the needs of each individual and the support they require.
