Tate Lodge is a residential care home offering support for eight adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs.
Supporting you
Each resident receives 1:1 support to create their own activity planners based around the things they enjoy doing, from day trips to places of interest.
Our residents have monthly meetings where they talk about what new items they would like in their home and places they want to visit. They also have a weekly menu planning meeting and monthly key worker 1-1 sessions. Our residents are supported to complete their daily living skills, which range from completing their laundry, cleaning their own bedrooms, to preparing and cooking their own breakfast and lunches.
We promote structure and routine to each person we support, to enable and empower them to become more independent and gain valuable independent life skills.
Facilities
Each resident has their own bedroom and ensuite bathroom, which is decorated to their personal taste. Changes can be made to bedrooms and bathrooms based on the individual’s needs and preferences.
Tate Lodge has a large kitchen where people are supported to prepare meals. There is also a large lounge and a quiet lounge. The home has a large back garden with a patio area where individuals enjoy making their own flower pots, barbeques or relaxing in the sun.
The team
Our team of staff work in a way that ensures the people we support know what is happening and who will be supporting them on their chosen activities. They also receive support in all areas of everyday life.
Staff receive regular training, which is personalised to individuals’ specific needs to ensure they provide a high standard of support to everyone living here.
