Oak Lodge is a supported living block that can provide individualised support packages for up to six people with learning disabilities, mental health problems and conditions that require intensive support.
Oak Lodge promotes independence whilst offering the required level of support to ensures skills are maintained and developed.
Our property is located in a quiet residential street in Blyth. It is close to a number of local amenities where residents are encouraged to engage in a wide variety of opportunities to increase skillset and achieve their aspirations.
There are close public transport links nearby providing residents with greater access to the wider community and livelier activities.
Oak Lodge itself is a fairly large building with six self-contained flats attached to the main corridor.
Four flats have their own private gardens and the other two have access to a side garden to socialise with other residents and to engage in outdoor living activities.
We have a variety of staff at Oak Lodge, harbouring a wealth of knowledge and experience to cater for each individual. All staff receive intensive training specific to the individual needs of the people we support.
Staff are person centred and put the rights and wishes of the individual at the forefront of everything they do, empowering them to make their own choices where appropriate.
