Located in Wallsend, 52 Carville Road is a specialist service for people with an acquired brain injury. This purpose-built property has 12 en-suite bedrooms and is fully accessible throughout. There plenty of communal areas including therapy rooms, three living rooms, a large kitchen-diner, gym and a private garden. Plus, did we mention that we have under-floor heating throughout the home?

We are an experienced provider, focused on delivering holistic and individualised support. We are committed to understanding the individual goals and aspirations of the residents, focusing on meaningful outcomes which enhance quality of life and independence.
We support individuals to relearn skills in a community based environment. As a provider we have a good track record of supporting residents to move on to their own tenancies or back home where appropriate, in line with an individual’s personal aspirations.
We are able to support people to develop cognitive, social, emotional and physical skills. Cognitive support plans and risk management strategies are developed to support individuals in gaining greater insight into their injury and its effects, enabling people to regain ownership of their lives and increase their confidence.
Therapists and support staff work with each person to establish strengths, aspirations and goals and issues which need to be addressed through therapy and rehabilitation. Regular therapy reviews allow collaboration between the individual’s multidisciplinary team.
This forum encourages creative and responsive strategies to the often varied and complex issues associated with brain injury. Strategies are implemented into daily life via scaled goals, set to record progress on specific areas. These provide information for current skill level and further goal setting.
Each person is assisted to maintain and develop personal interests. Support is available to facilitate a range of social, occupational and leisure activities. We aim to encourage individuals to maintain and develop relationships, enjoying time with the important people in their lives.
