Holistic support

Many of the people we support with brain injuries have additional clinical needs. Our team of expert Clinical Nurse Managers educate and train our support teams to safely manage these needs.

Through continuous expert training and support, our teams support a range of clinical needs, including:

  • Diabetes
  • Epilepsy
  • Substance misuse
  • Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG)
  • Emergency Rescue Medication (ERM)

Alongside our rich program of functional and mental health therapies, we partner with specialist neuro-rehabilitation therapists to deliver physical therapies. These include:

Physiotherapy

Our specialist Physiotherapy partners are specially trained to understand how brain injuries affect mobility. Using clinically proven techniques, they support individuals to regain strength and mobility in their spines and lower bodies.

Speech and Language Therapy (SALT)

We benefit from designated Therapy Leads at all our brain injury rehabilitation services. As well as cascading intermediary talking therapy techniques and occupational tasks, they support our external therapists with physical rehabilitation.

Working in multi-disciplinary teams and with third-party professionals, we nurture healthy, happy environments for the people we support. Our compassionate support teams advocate for health equalities for people with brain injuries, so they can feel their best and achieve positive rehabilitation outcomes.
