Respite Care

At our residential care homes across the UK, we offer flexible respite care options, including planned, unplanned, and emergency support for people with learning disabilities, autism, and other complex needs.

Our expert teams are specially trained to navigate your circumstances with you, supporting you to comfortably transition to your new home. From the moment you join us, we’ll effectively and safely support your needs – always with your best interests at heart.

Our respite support

Our teams use person-centred care and support. We’ll get to know you as an individual and build a picture of your needs, preferences, and values. Whether you’re with us for just one day, or a little longer, we’ll ensure your needs are met, so you can spend your days doing things that are meaningful to you.

With our support, you’re free to continue your usual daily routine or embrace positive changes and try new activities. Whatever you choose to do, we’ll be by your side to ensure you live the fulfilling life you deserve.

Preparing for your respite stay

Staying away from home for the first time is a big step. We understand it’s exciting for some people but, for others, it can be a difficult journey to navigate.

Before your stay

Before you join us for your respite days, we’ll work with you to prepare for the transition and support you to feel confident staying away from home. We’ll invite you to your respite home for a look around and meet your new housemates. You’ll get to know your support team too and start to build important relationships.

When you arrive

While you’re here

Our approach

When you join one of our dedicated respite care homes, we’ll empower you to live the life you choose. Following your passions, you’ll learn new skills, meet new people, and build meaningful relationships.

Your needs are our priority, so we keep our support flexible. If your health changes, we’ll ensure our support is delivered in a safe, effective, and consistent way, so you can keep feeling your best and do the things that make you happy.
