Our Home

At Wasdale Court, we support up to nine people across three bungalows. Our team are experienced in supporting a range of needs and conditions, including learning and physical disabilities, autism, epilepsy, mental health needs, behaviours that may challenge, and complex health needs.

Supporting You

Using a person-centred approach, we empower you to enjoy meaningful experiences and make the most of each day. Our specially trained team takes the time to get to know you as a person, so we can provide support that nurtures your interests, respects your preferences, and helps you achieve your goals.

Centring each day around meaning and purpose, we’ll support you to access a range of enjoyable and engaging activities. Whether you’re into karaoke nights, cultural days, baking sessions at home, or like to take advantage of bigger social events in the area, there’s always something to look forward to!

As part of your support, we’ll empower you to build positive, meaningful relationships with others and embrace new experiences. We’ll support you to find opportunities where you feel comfortable to socialise with others and have fun!

Facilities

Our home comprises three separate buildings, offering a comfortable and accessible living environment. One building contains a single apartment, while the other two buildings each have four self-contained apartments, giving everyone their own private space to relax and feel at home.

Thoughtfully designed with independence at the heart, each apartment includes its own kitchen, lounge, bedroom, and wet room. So, you can embrace your own living space while remaining reassured that our specialist team are on hand when you need them.

Alongside private living spaces, we also have a communal area where everyone can come together for parties and events, group activities, or simply enjoying each other’s company. Outside, our spacious garden and external areas offer plenty of room to enjoy fresh air, relax, and take part in outdoor activities!

Community

Our home is ideally situated in Hull, offering a peaceful setting while still being well connected to the local area. Located next to a large park with a beautiful woodland walk, it provides the perfect opportunity to enjoy nature and spend time outdoors.

Just beyond the park, you’ll find a selection of local shops, pubs, a café, and a community centre. Staying connected and involved in the local community is easy! We have easy access to the local town centre and a convenient bus route nearby. So, getting out and about is simple and accessible.

We offer wake night, and sleep-in support to ensure you always feel safe and supported. We are trained in a range of specialist areas to meet a wide range of needs and remain committed to continuous learning so we can provide the best possible support.
