Situated in Sheffield, Rother Valley View provides residential care for up to six individuals with learning and physical disabilities, mental health conditions and associated complex needs.
Supporting you
Our care revolves around the unique needs and goals of each person we support. Our team are here to guide every individual, helping them gain new skills, boost their confidence, and move towards greater independence.
Plus, we’re passionate about assisting the people we support in joining in on local fun activities, making sure their lives are full of joy and satisfaction. As well as getting out and about in the community, at home, we love hosting karaoke and game nights, movie marathons, and getting creative with arts and crafts.
Facilities
Our home features six individual living spaces, each fully equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable life. Enjoy a cosy double bed or luxurious queen-size bed, oak wardrobes for ample storage, a handy TV console table, and a comfy double settee or a mix of single settees for relaxing.
Each space includes a kitchen table or breakfast bar, a modern fridge/freezer, a washer/dryer, plenty of kitchen storage, a microwave, a fitted oven and hobs, and a kettle for hot drinks. We encourage the people we support to decorate their space to reflect their personal taste.
Our communal area is designed for unwinding and socialising, with comfortable settees, homely decor, a large console table for games and activities, and a mini-kitchen area for quick snacks and drinks.
Our team
We value having the best team to ensure everyone receives the safest and most effective care possible. Our Registered Manager and management team have an open-door policy, maintaining honesty, openness, and transparency among our team and the people we support.
When it comes to bringing new team members on board, we take it seriously. We make sure every candidate goes through a thorough interview process, and we even encourage the input of the people we support. And once someone joins our team, we make sure they get all the training they need to provide top-notch support.
