Our vibrant home offers specialist support for up to 25 people. With state-of-the-art facilities, we believe recovery doesn’t stop after initial medical treatment. Dedicated to helping you relearn essential daily living skills, our comfortable, stable, and supportive environment empowers you with independence and confidence!

Our home is equipped to offer a complete rehabilitative pathway. Our unique provision offers residential, transitional, and extended stay accommodation. Split into three specialist wings, each area of our home benefits from its own communal lounge with garden view, access to our central therapy wing, which includes a gym, and opportunities to socialise with other housemates in main communal areas.

Our residential accommodation has been thoughtfully designed to support functional rehabilitation. Ideal for those looking for a step-down solution from hospital, step-up solution from a community setting, or those seeking additional reassurance from an expert team. Our purposefully adapted suite has 15 fully furnished bedrooms with en-suite wet-room facilities, assistive technology and equipment for accessibility based on individual needs, ground floor rooms, and first floor rooms accessible via a lift.

Alongside our full residential support, we offer two options for continuous care through transitional and extended stay accommodation. Our transitional accommodation offers added independence with the reassurance of residential support, bridging the gap between residential support and returning to the community. Extended stays are available if you need to establish a long-term home with us. Offering the ideal setting for more permanent accommodation, you’ll achieve greater independence with the benefit of as much support from our team as you need.

Both our transitional and extended stay accommodations are fully furnished flats located on the ground floor, featuring private bedrooms with wet-room en-suite, open-plan kitchens and living areas, and the option to add additional accessibility features.

Community

As part of our approach, we deliver holistic, active support. Promoting a functional approach, we focus on developing skills in everyday scenarios. We engage you with the community as an extended provision for support – improving relationships, establishing opportunities, and increasing awareness of behaviours in social environments.

At Riverway Lodge, we benefit from access to local shops, cafes, and restaurants, nearby healthcare facilities and leisure centres, a Headway group for support, socialising, and activities.
