Supporting you
Rivers offers residential accommodation for six adults with a primary diagnosis of learning disability/mental impairment and complex behaviours that require an intensive support service. Our home also specialises in providing care and support for those living with Prader-Willi syndrome.
Our aim is to support, stabilise and provide a pathway to other models of care within the existing resources of mental health care. Tailored transition programmes are designed individually to reflect the specific needs of the individual.
Facilities
Our spacious detached property has been designed to respond to the needs of people who show behaviours that challenge, whilst providing an environment that is warm and homely.
There are six bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities with either a bath or a shower. Two rooms are on the ground floor and four are on the first floor. We encourage people to bring their own belongings and to decorate their rooms in the style they prefer. Our shared areas include a sensory room and recently refurbished games room complete with pool table and television for relaxation and social activities, overlooking the large private garden at the rear of the property.
