At Magnolia House, we offer long-term residential support to individuals with learning disabilities and autism. A spacious detached house with an all-male occupancy, we currently support four residents. Benefiting from a diverse workforce with a wide range of specialist skills, Magnolia House offers dedicated one-to-one support to empower the people they support, encouraging them to live as independently as possible.

Our aim is for the people we support to live enriched and fulfilled lives. We help them to fulfil their hopes and dreams and believe it is important to listen to what they want and support them in making their own decisions. Our team at Magnolia House offers a diverse mix of specialisms, backgrounds, ethnicities and ages. Each team member offers something unique to our residents, empowering them to live a varied and fulfilled life. We offer support with daily living tasks, as well as dedicated one-to-one support in leisure and community orientated activities. We believe that everyone we work with should pursue the things that fulfil and inspire them the most. Whether this is educational, vocational or volunteering pursuits, our team is on hand to fully support our residents in achieving these goals. We encourage participation in leisure and social activities and empower the people we support to stay active and entertained, making use of facilities in the local area.
Facilities
At Magnolia House, we benefit from a spacious four-bedroom detached house that is near local shops and a short walk to the town centre. The property features ample, unrestricted on-street parking, as well as excellent nearby transport links. Our private rear garden provides an ideal spot for outdoor activities.
Our bedrooms are split across two floors, with each person’s room decorated and personalised to their own taste. Two of our rooms benefit from en-suite facilities, whilst the others have access to a shared washroom.
The team
All staff receive expert training tailored to the needs of the people we support. Staff are asked for their opinions on training regularly through supervisions and can request any additional training they feel will be beneficial to their role.
Our staff at Magnolia House are diverse and bring their own individual strengths and levels of experience to the home, ensuring a good variety of skills are shared with our residents. Our dedicated team deliver tailored support, which has helped us to achieve a rating of Good by the CQC.
