Our Home
Ladycroft respite is a short-stay respite care home located in Wath-upon-Dearne. Here, we provide care and support for up to six individuals with learning and physical disabilities, autism, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and Down’s syndrome.
Supporting You
Our expert team delivers dedicated, person-centred support designed to meet the individual needs, interests, and aspirations of the people we support.
Through our specialist approach, we take the time to get to know each person as an individual. Understanding their passions, we empower them to engage in activities that are meaningful to them.
We love to keep active and build memories with the people we support. We regularly organise trips to the seaside, and we enjoy going bowling and to the cinema. We also coordinate a rich program of home-based activities. Board games and gardening are always popular with everyone who stays with us!
Facilities
Our detached bungalow is accessible throughout – ideal for people with additional mobility needs. We have plenty of welcoming spaces where the people we support can enjoy quiet time, relax, or connect with others.
Our home comprises six fully furnished ensuite bedrooms. Two of our rooms are enhanced with private kitchenettes and washing facilities, providing greater independence. Three rooms are equipped with ceiling tracking hoists for those with additional mobility needs.
We have plenty of communal areas, including a comfortable lounge, dining room, and kitchen. We also have an assisted bathroom and shower.
Our garden has a lawned area and patio enveloping the sides and rear of our home – perfect for relaxing or socialising in the fresh air.
