Our Home
Byards Keep is a residential care home, supporting up to eight people with a learning disability, autistic people, and those with epilepsy, mental health needs, cerebral palsy, physical disabilities, and behaviours that may challenge.
Supporting You
We encourage and support you to participate in everyday activities you enjoy, such as cooking, baking, and looking after your home, helping you to build independence and develop important life skills.
We have two service vehicles available, including one adapted vehicle and an SUV – keeping you well connected to the local community.
Facilities
Our spacious Victorian home is set within peaceful woodland surroundings and offers six large en-suite bedrooms, alongside two semi-independent living flats adjacent to the main house – perfect for those wanting that added independence.
Our home features plenty of communal spaces, including a large kitchen, dining room, lounge, conservatory, activity room, fully equipped sensory room and a communal bathroom with an adaptive bath. We also have a secure outdoor space, offering opportunities to take part in gardening activities, such as growing fruit and vegetables.
Accessibility is central to our home, with a platform lift, hoists, and ceiling tracking in place to ensure safe, comfortable, and convenient access for those with mobility needs!
