Our Home
Bethia Cottage offers specialist support for up to five individuals who have a learning disability, physical disabilities, multiple complex disabilities, including chronic health conditions, epilepsy, and some behavioural support needs.
Supporting You
We understand everyone has goals and aspirations, so we empower the people we support to embrace a number of activities and experiences that are meaningful to them. We engage all our housemates in running the home and ensuring it’s a happy place to live!
Facilities
We have five large, wheelchair accessible bedrooms. All bedrooms have ceiling tracking to make personal care dignified, safe, and more comfortable. We have a number of communal rooms, including a lounge, a quiet room, a dining room, as well as an assisted showering facility.
Our bathrooms have been carefully designed to meet the needs of people with a range of disabilities including specialist baths. We also have a dedicated sensory room.
There is a garden with lawned areas and a large patio area.
We also have two house vehicles, enabling the people we support to access the local community and opportunities further afield.

Community
Bethia Cottage is a purpose-built bungalow situated in the quiet rural community of Preston, Hull, which forms part of the Humberside and East Riding coastal route. It is close to community facilities, parks and recreation areas. We have established links with the local community and takes advantage of the facilities available.
