At Belchford we support seven men with a learning disability, mental health, autistic spectrum conditions and challenging behaviours.
We believe that our residents living at Belchford should be given the opportunity to have the same experiences as anyone else, at the same time as having their individual needs met. We arrange activities to suit each individual, taking into account their complex needs.
We are based in the quiet village of Heselden in Hartlepool. Although we are in a rural location, local facilities are only a ten minute walk away, and we also have our own vehicle.
Our home is a traditionally built detached house with a slate roof in a country setting. we have an entrance hall, kitchen, pantry, two dining rooms, office and conservatory. There is also two bathrooms, a laundry room, a good sized lounge, two WCs and six bedrooms that can be personalised for individual tastes, plus a sleep-over room.
We have an experienced team who provide a high quality standard of consistent support. Our staff allows people living at the service to feel secure, creating a settled atmosphere. The staff work well as a team and always have each person's best interests in mind.
