At Barrington House we support seven people who have learning disabilities and other needs.
Supporting you
Your needs are at the heart of all we do. We have experience of supporting people who have autism, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, varying degrees of complex needs and mild to moderate mental health needs. We can also offer behaviour support.
We support everyone to become citizens in their own right, to build relationships within their local community and build their independence. We ensure that the residents we support are actively involved in the recruitment process, induction and development of the staff team.
The people who live in Barrington House are very sociable and like nothing better than to have people from other residential homes and their families and friends over for a party.
We ensure that everyone has as active a social life as they want and is supported to choose and plan a holiday.
Facilities
Barrington House is wheelchair accessible, and bedrooms are situated on both the ground floor and the first floor.
