Our Home
13 Hutton Avenue is a nursing care home located in Hartlepool, County Durham. We provide care and support for up to nine individuals with a learning disability, physical disabilities, autism, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, Down’s syndrome, diabetes, and complex care needs.
Supporting you
Our one-to-one support allows for greater independence, meaningful engagement, and a higher quality of life, while also enabling you to participate in daily activities and community life at your own pace!
Alongside our clinical support, we focus on creating a homely, inclusive environment where independence, choice, and quality of life are at the centre of everything we do.
We support a wide range of personalised activities based on your interests. Locally, we enjoy going to clubs, swimming, bowling, and bingo. As a home we organise day trips by train to places like York, and Middlesbrough.
Facilities
At 13 Hutton Avenue, we have nine en-suite bedrooms. Our fully equipped home features ceiling tracking, hoists, adjustable beds, and a lift – perfect for those with mobility needs.
Our home features welcoming communal areas including a calming sensory room and a large garden for everyone to enjoy.

Our Team
Our specialist team support individuals with a range of complex needs, including tracheostomy care, oxygen therapy, gastrostomy care, stoma care, and profound and multiple learning disabilities.
We have a dedicated team available 24-hours a day, including experienced day and overnight team members. The care we provide is person-centred and supported through a keyworker system, with strong family involvement. Our team is trained to carry out complex nursing tasks with confidence and skill.
