Nurturing our social care superstars with outstanding apprenticeships!

We know each of our support colleagues has something unique to offer. As part of our continued commitment to creating fulfilling lives for all, we embrace colleagues at every stage of their career.

That’s why, this year, we’ve been recognised as one of the UK’s top 100 apprenticeship providers – twice!

Our ratings

We’ve recently been ranked 19th in The Sunday Times Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers 2025, a long-standing, prestigious scheme celebrating the UK’s most outstanding apprenticeship employers. Organisations are scored based on their commitment to creating new apprenticeship opportunities, the diversity of their apprentices, and the number of apprentices who successfully complete their courses.

Our top 20 position demonstrates our deep devotion to increasing apprenticeship opportunities for our colleagues and developing a diverse workforce. Together, these two areas of focus ensure our specialist homes are excellent places to learn and work in!

And this is something our apprentices agree with. We were also rated 45th in the Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers 2025 by the Department for Education. Through RateMyApprenticeship, they chart the best apprenticeship employers in the UK, as voted for by apprentices. Organisations are awarded their positions based on reviews submitted by apprentices. Compiled annually, this list recognises employers for their commitment to understanding apprentice learning needs and providing high-quality programs!

Quality and development

Our rankings by The Sunday Times and the Department for Education reflect our commitment to building brighter futures for the people we support – and those who support them. Behind the scenes, our Quality and Development team work hard to create valuable opportunities for our colleagues, including our high-quality apprenticeship schemes.

Mandi, our Qualifications & Development Manager, said: “Being ranked so highly twice is a testament to the hard work of our teams and colleagues, and the dedication and passion of our apprentices, who bring fresh perspectives and energy to everything we do.”

Building bright futures

Our apprenticeships are created to ensure people can build meaningful, lasting Social Care careers. From Support Workers transitioning to leadership roles to Managers increasing their confidence, each apprentice who joins us walks along a meaningful path to a bright future.

We understand the best learning and growth happens in supportive environments, which is what we aim to create. Our apprentices are encouraged and supported to embrace challenges, find confidence within their roles, and discover more about who they are. Something both The Sunday Times and the Department for Education applauded.
